Design & Build is a method of construction project delivery characterised in that the responsibility for the project design documentation preparation and thus for the overall performance quality is transferred onto the construction contractor.

The client usually only defines the purpose, the standards, the scope and the performance criteria for the performance. The Design & Build projects are suitable for both new developments and old building reconstructions and modernisations (applicable to office buildings, sports or cultural facilities, schools, hospitals, shopping centres, industrial halls and buildings).
