ROOFPLAN, Plastic-Coated Metal Sheets

Plastic-coated sheet metal with a protective vinyl layer is used in the same applications as non-plastic-coated metal sheets. Their bending and joining must be done within 5 °C to +40 °C temperature range. We supply sheet metal with outer dimensions of 2000 by 1000 by 1.2 mm. Sheet bending, riveting and gluing can be done as with standard non-plastic-coated sheets. Our metal sheets do not need any further protective paint, but in the case of surface discoloration they can further be treated with synthetic or dispersion paints. Plastic-coated sheets must not get in touch with drinking water and food. At the same time contact with bitumen- and tar-based substances is not recommended. Plastic-coated sheet metal cannot be joined by soldering and welding.
